I was born in 2000 in Athens, Greece, and began playing guitar at age eight under the guidance of Elena Papandreou. I earned my diploma in guitar from Orion Conservatory in 2017 and I continue to study composition with Ilias Nikolaidis, while taking masterclasses with renowned soloists such as Oscar Ghiglia, Roland Dyens, Gabriel Bianco, Marco Tamayo, Suzanna Prieto, Jerry Willard and Alexis Mouzourakis. Over the years I have won 15 guitar competition prizes across Europe, including 1st prizes at the Nikita Koshkin International Competition for Young Guitarists (2021) and at the Patras International Guitar Festival (2019), as well as several podium positions such as 2nd prize at the Antwerp Guitar Festival (2021) and 2nd prize at the Incontri Chitarristici di Gargnano (2017). My works in guitar and composition have also earned prizes: An Art Artistry (Greece, 2017) for 'The Sky Wasn’t' and Dutch Guitar Foundation (Netherlands, 2022) for 'Images from a Sea', and the 3rd prize at the 9th Dimitris Dragatakis Composition Competition (Greece, 2022) for 'The Chase' for solo viola. Pieces performed by notable soloists include Kristina Varlid, Emilie Fend, Fotis Koutsothodoros and Smaro Grigoriadou (guitar), cellist Lefki Kolovou, pianist Patricia Arenas Menendez, and the L’Anima string quartet. I have given recitals across Greece in cities like Athens and Thessaloniki, including appearances in Megaron halls.
