I've been a freelance artist and illustrator over the last decade, mostly creating private commissions and design work. In the past two years, I've focused more on my painting and animation career. My love for animation and illustration comes from a storytelling aspect. I love the ability to tell stories through images, whether with many images like animation or even a single image like an illustration. Through my paintings, my career has also grown to include personal commissions of pet portraits and teaching classes. Over the past year, I've helped share stories about family, love, connection, and even loss by capturing beloved pets. I've also begun teaching others the joy of painting and nurturing their creative spirit. As a former substitute teacher and after-school program leader, I use my classroom skills to teach and guide students from one-on-one settings to groups as large as 20. I hope to continue to navigate art through community connection and find joy in the moments around us.
