I am Richard Freer, a passionate fine artist and dedicated adult education tutor based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Since 1999, I have been creating exciting and challenging artwork for sale and exhibition internationally. Alongside my practice as an artist, I have extensive experience in teaching art and pottery, improving confidence and mental health, and developing employability skills for learners with learning needs. I truly enjoy motivating and inspiring individuals across various settings, including colleges, community centres, and prisons. With a strong educational background in fine art and education qualifications such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills status, I bring professionalism and creativity to all my roles. Outside of art, I am also a 6th DAN black belt in Karate, having trained and taught for decades.
