I've always had a special interest in postproduction, starting with editing. I left my country, Mexico, to pursue a degree in Audiovisual Communication. Two years as a screenwriting intern made me realize my place was in postproduction. I decided to specialize in VFX because of the endless possibilities the field has in creating scenes that seem impossible to achieve. While studying the master’s degree, I developed skills to become proficient in different programs such as NukeX, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. I also learned techniques and concepts in composition, color correction, Motion Graphics, and a bit of 3D. During the final projects phase, I was able to contribute in several teams as a non-set VFX Supervisor to then meet the postproduction needs each project required.
