Although I spent my childhood in rural North Devon, Newcastle has always been an intrinsic part of my life. I spent countless holidays in the Northeast visiting family and friends, and I have always enjoyed exploring the vibrancy of the city. Over the last three years living here as a student, I have immersed myself in making films and documenting the rich community around me. Studying film practice at university has allowed me to combine creativity with valuable transferable skills. As director of our final dissertation project, I developed leadership, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills while growing a keen eye for cinematic detail. I am adaptable, open-minded, and enthusiastic about creating great films, fueled by curiosity and past solo travels throughout Europe that strengthened my independence and confidence.
