Richard Tsai

I’m Richard Tsai, a trained architect with more than 20 years of experience spanning architecture product design, interior design, furniture design, graphic design, environmental planning, and broadcast entertainment. I specialize in 3D modeling, photorealistic rendering, and computer animation, and I have earned three regional Emmy awards as Art Director and Associate Producer for PBS documentaries.

As the founder and principal of Field of Vision in San Francisco since 2004, I lead a creative studio that produces videos, motion graphics, 3D rendering and animations, handling bidding, contracting, project management and production. I also contribute as Creative Associate for Yadav Diamonds and Jewelry, guiding marketing and production of ads and videos for luxury goods, and I have collaborated on major museum, architectural, and exhibition projects through roles at the Exploratorium, Katerra, Vanderbyl Design, and DES Architects.
