I am Ricardo Gallardo, a percussionist and composer from Mexico City, devoted to interpretation, composition and the promotion of new music for over four decades. I have commissioned and premiered numerous scores dedicated to me, collaborating with composers across five continents to bring contemporary music to stages and audiences worldwide.
As a professor at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and at Nagoya College of Music in Japan, I mentor new generations of musicians and organize masterclasses, clinics, workshops and seminars to foster the development of contemporary music and interdisciplinary collaborations.
