I am an experienced artist and illustrator passionate about teaching art to young people from middle to high school. I strive to inspire each student to engage with the act of seeing and discovering their artistic voice through various media including drawing, comic books, painting, and designing pop-up books, children’s books, or graphic novels.
Throughout my career, I have taught at multiple institutions and led workshops that cover a broad range of artistic disciplines including book illustration, naturalist art, graphic novels, and botanical illustration. I enjoy mentoring students and helping them develop their skills for artistic and professional success.
