Hi, I’m Daniel Gerhard Holc, a German-born graphic designer, illustrator and video editor currently based in Mallorca, Spain. My creative journey began at age 15 in Bergheim’s punk and alternative scene, where I taught myself graphic design and music, cutting and pasting flyers, posters and album artwork with Xerox, cutters, ink pens and glue—embracing a DIY ethos influenced by 80s American hardcore culture. After moving to Hamburg to pursue art studies, I built a career as a designer and art director, eventually founding Designbaustelle to serve the music industry. Since 2011 I’ve been with DPNY in Palma de Mallorca, designing web shops, managing online communications and redesigning product packaging.
