Hi, I’m André Maio, a chemistry student at NOVA-FCT with a passion for turning complex science into engaging stories and projects. I love volunteering, organizing events, and bridging science with public relations and marketing, from sports fairs to scientific expos. My drive comes from challenging myself and filling my schedule with meaningful work that makes sense to me—whether it’s a campus initiative, a voluntary project, or a public-facing campaign. I’ve taken on leadership roles in student organizations, coordinating teams and shaping initiatives that connect students locally and internationally. As a member of ANEQ and as part of BEST, I’ve gained hands-on experience in project planning, budgeting, and cross-cultural collaboration, while balancing academics in chemistry and lab work.
