Hi, I’m David Vordtriede, a freelance illustrator and art director based in St. Louis. Since 2013 I’ve been creating illustrations and artwork for books, animation, and the gaming world for clients such as Target, Hallmark, Ravensburger, Disney, Epic!, Sesame Workshop, Vevo, and more. I’ve served as Co-Director and Art Director for Vevo.com’s original online series A.K.A., handling storyboards, character designs and production across all three seasons. I’ve developed key art and logos for Bandai Namco’s Nintendo Switch release and created artwork used on package covers for major retailers. I also wrote and illustrated a series of early reader picture books for Epic!.
