Hi, I’m Valerie Hudson, a Calgary-based singer, musician, songwriter, and actor who grew up in London, Ontario. I perform regularly in southern Alberta and the East Kootenays with The Waltzing Matildas and with VJQ (Vintage Jazz Quartet or Quintet). I’m active with the Nightingale Arts Collective and Calgary Opera Chorus, and I enjoy collaborating across theatre, music, and recording projects. My career spans stage, recording, and studio work—from early recording on Tommy Banks’s Looking West label to performing in opera choruses, theatre, and film projects.
