    Here it is! My pride and joy in its dark and gloomy glory!

    After a very sentimental rewatch of the classic Billy Elliot film, I felt inspired to create my own short tribute to my favorite movie! Using Unreal Engine’s fantastic sequencer feature, I’ve begun putting together a handful of cinematic shots. To take advantage of all the great tools offered, I used the LiveLink feature to streamline the facial animations I recorded onto my character. I was also able to get my hands on some great motion capture ballet exercises by “AnotherKindOfBlue” that I retargeted to my custom Metahuman, utilizing quite a bit of additive layers to achieve the final result.

    This project was a blast to work on, and I’m glad I was able to show my appreciation for my favorite film, no matter how short. I hope you enjoy it!
