bassist, Jimmy Haslip. The album featuring
nine original jazz-rock compositions that were
written and arranged by Scott. Rogers Park

Scott’s latest release is titled Spheres.
Musically, this album carries on from where
Rogers Park left off and it demonstrates
the further development of his composing,
arranging and guitar playing expertise in ten
new tracks, ranging from funky grooves, to
swing, to jazz-fusion.
Recorded in Spring of 2023, Spheres
features Marty Zevin. All compositions on
Spheres were written by Scott except for an
instrumental version of the song “Yearning for
Your Love” that was a hit for The Gap Band and
was written by Oliver Scott and Ronnie Wilson
and “Judgement Day” that was a collaboration
between Scott and Marty Zevin. The ten
tracks are all instrumental and feature Scott’s
expressive guitar playing on both acoustic and
electric guitar. Musical styles include jazz-
