Hi, I'm Joe—a drummer/percussionist, keyboardist, composer and educator with a long and varied career as a performance artist. I’ve performed and recorded with ensembles and artists across rock, jazz and world music, including affiliations with Annie Haslam's Renaissance, and I’ve opened for the Moody Blues and Procol Harum. I’ve collaborated with producers Larry Fast and Tony Visconti, and shared stages with keyboard legends David Sancious and Patrick Moraz, touring Brazil and Japan with Annie Haslam and Mark Lambert. Hi, I'm also a committed educator and composer. Since 2006 I’ve been bringing arts-in-education to schools and learning centers around Los Angeles through Theatre of Hearts Youth First, and since 2013 I’ve been a teaching artist with Aimee Arts, leading music workshops across the region. As a composer, I’ve scored films for PBS and Showtime, including Stone Mansion, Sunday Morning Stripper, The Great Commission and Pants in the Family, and I’ve created scores for Lovers Discretion (Silverlight Productions) and other projects like Rock Island Prison 1864 and Lucky Gideon, with an upcoming animated mystery Who Killed Detective O'Leary? and other projects in development.…Hi, I'm Joe—a drummer/percussionist, keyboardist, composer and educator with a long and varied career as a performance artist.
