Moises Perez

I am a music producer, bass player, and educator with extensive real-world experience in production, performance, and music education. Having performed internationally in a variety of professional contexts, from cruise ship orchestras to London session work.

I bring practical industry insight that inspires students to think creatively, critically, and professionally. I have over ten years’ teaching experience across primary, secondary, and higher education settings, including curriculum design and private tuition. My recent MA in Creative Music Production at ICMP, under the guidance of James Auware, Nikolay Georgiev, and Alessandro Favero, has deepened my expertise in modern production techniques, critical listening, and creative use of DAWs such as Ableton Live and Logic Pro. My specialist strengths are granular synthesis, creative production, and live performance, which I integrate into both my artistic practice and my teaching. I combine strong knowledge of music theory with hands-on skills in arranging, mixing, and mastering, enabling me to mentor students both technically and artistically in contemporary music-making.
