I am Alexandre VASSEUR, a Lyon-based designer and consultant focused on human-centered design, systems thinking and social impact. I founded ID-AL, an ecosystem design agency operating half of my time in France and Cambodia, where I lead cross-disciplinary teams on projects spanning mobility, shelter solutions and sustainable development for NGOs, firms and funders. I enjoy translating complex briefs into actionable concepts, prototypes and scalable delivery with stakeholders from diverse sectors.
With more than two decades of experience across manufacturing, automotive and NGO contexts, I blend listening, analytical rigor and design thinking to drive meaningful change. I communicate effectively with customers and users, both visually and verbally, and I collaborate internationally to deliver responsible, ecologically aware design outcomes.
In collaboration with a cardboard packaging engineer, I was able to create food packaging made from recycled cardboard, using 20% less material.
A pouring spout was integrated into the packaging, and the final product withstands significant mechanical stress, particularly during storage and transport.
