I am Ruth Woods, a researcher at NTNU, specializing in cultural studies of sustainability, urban design and public art. Through leadership roles in projects like FUTURUM, ZEN, and other centers, I combine fieldwork, design thinking and policy engagement to explore how neighborhoods transform toward zero-emission living.
I collaborate across disciplines and with communities to translate research into practice, from living labs to building projects. I enjoy mentoring students and coordinating cross-boundary teams to deliver impactful insights and practical solutions.
