I'm Viktória Nagy, a painter, set and costume designer and art director. I studied at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, starting in painting before switching to set and costume design, and I graduated in 2000. Over the years I have visual designed more than 90 works across opera, ballet, theater, film, TV, and animation, bringing stage and screen visuals to life with sensitivity and musicality. I teach painting and set design at Budapest Metropolitan University. My first solo painting exhibition was in Budapest in 2023, and I’ve been exploring moving paintings and NFT formats to create a dialogue between painting and music. I’m inspired by classical music and Buddhist thought, and I aim to depict spaces perceived by the brain and intuition, rather than just by the eye.
