Hi there! I’m Joshua Warner, a pianist and composer based in London with a passion for crafting expressive, cinematic music for film, performance, and collaboration with other artists. Recently, I’ve been doing remote freelance work for Eric Whitacre, handling notation engraving, audio production and mockups, and arranging original pieces for string orchestra reduced for piano and solo violin. I balance studio work with live performance and have enjoyed shaping atmospheres across projects of varying scales. As an in-house composer for Pigpen Productions since 2021, I create original soundtracks and sound design for short films and contribute as a session musician for events around Edinburgh and beyond. I’m currently pursuing a BA in Music at the University of Edinburgh, specializing in composition, performance and sound design, and I’m proficient with a range of production and notation tools including Dorico, Ableton, Logic, and MuseScore.…Hi there!
