I am Notis Martakis, a seasoned Greek communications professional with a career spanning journalism, press relations, and tourism marketing. Since 1998 I lead MTC Group Consulting, focusing on tourism marketing and promotion (DMO). I have served as Director of the press office to the Greek President, consulted for foreign leaders’ press offices, and taught Public Relations at AKTO College and Metropolitan College Athens.
I enjoy building strategic communications programs, mentoring students, and sharing knowledge through seminars and publications such as ‘Press Offices- Organization and Operation’ and tourism policy notes distributed to University of Piraeus students. I am fluent in Greek and have very good English, and I am passionate about helping organizations promote their messages effectively.
