Agriculture Employee at The Youth Farm Project

August 1, 2022 - September 24, 2025

Responsibilities included feeding farm animals, crop rotation, harvesting vegetables and honey, raising chickens, and cooking organic lunches for the agriculture workers. Achievements included learning sustainable farming and composting, making medicinal herbs, improving soil health for crops, using biological controls with chickens and goats, and making indigo dye. We grew 6,500 pounds of vegetables for our local community.
