About
Hi, I’m Ismael Lins Patriota, a musician, musicologist and translator based in Rome. I work at the intersection of performance, research, and language, translating academic Portuguese texts into English and teaching music across Brazil and Europe. My projects span piano recitals, musicology papers, CDs and film scores.
I’ve translated doctoral work, taught master courses, and composed music for CDs and cinema. When I’m not performing or researching, I enjoy programming in Python and exploring tools to support translation and scholarly writing.
