Hatra War is a two-player game depicting the clash between Iranians and Roman armies. My focus was on creating illustrations that immerse players in the heat of the battle, along with designing graphics and elements that both align with historical motifs and clearly convey each card's purpose.
For a Shahnameh book cover, I created one of its most iconic characters. The design preserves the character's sense of pride and grandeur while incorporating symbols and elements unique to the character and Iranian culture.
This board game is based on a fantasy theme of the eternal battle between good and evil. My goal in this project was to design characters and environments that immediately convey the contrast between light and darkness.
