I’ve spent the past 30 years working as a photographer, cinematographer, film editor and director, and I still feel as excited about the craft as when I first picked up a camera. My career has taken me across a wide range of projects—from editorial and portraiture to commercial campaigns, short films, and documentaries. Along the way, I’ve gathered a life’s worth of experiences: growing up on a remote farm, a stint with the Sydney Swans (AFL Football), running a pub in Far North Queensland, and years as a freelance fashion photographer in Sydney, London, and Paris. I’ve studied acting, weathered personal loss, and embraced the joy of being a husband and a dad. All of this helps me connect with people in a genuine, empathetic way and bring a “glass-half-full” energy to every project. For me, the heart of storytelling lies in people. My greatest strength isn’t just in lighting, composition, or the technical side of the job—it’s in creating an environment where talent feels comfortable enough to be present and authentic, whether as themselves or in character. I’m driven to leave the world a little better than I found it, and I love using my skills to amplify messages that matter—whether that’s health, wellness, or causes for the greater good. At the end of the day, I see my role as more than just creating beautiful images; it’s about bringing joy, honesty, and purpose to the stories we tell.
