About

Hi! I’m Savvas — a Helsinki-based illustrator and multimedia artist behind VARNA: varna-design.art

I’m interested in creating editorial illustrations, book and album covers, and visual work that blends narrative with atmosphere. I enjoy projects where I can bring ideas and emotions to life through expressive imagery and thoughtful design.

I hold a BA in Computer Animation Art & Design and have been working as an artist for almost a decade, combining traditional drawing techniques with digital tools to create textured, story-driven illustrations.

Bad Hand Roastery - Illustration

Bad Hand Roastery in Bournemouth, United Kingdom is a local roastery, serving and supplying killer coffee all around Dorset. It is one my absolute favourite places in the area. The illustration features a likeness of one of the roasters and it was a "love letter" to them.
