I'm Sahar Jam, an Iranian-born visual artist, illustrator and cartoonist based in Helsinki. My practice spans visual arts, illustration, graphics, cartoons and picture books, with a focus on storytelling, social commentary and collaboration. In recent years I helped found Beyond Art Oslo and have been actively involved in running and developing art spaces; I moved to Helsinki in December 2021 and have since started working as a gallery assistant at Myymälä 2, a cooperative of artists running a gallery and event space in central Helsinki.
