I’m Tim O’Keefe, an audio artist, composer, and producer based in Brooklyn. Over two decades I’ve built a practice spanning film and game soundtracks, multimedia installations, and music-driven activism. From leading VOA Farsi’s New York Harmony to founding Freedom Beat, I combine creative coding, live performance, and collaborative production to craft immersive sonic experiences.
My work emphasizes collaboration, education, and socially engaged art. As an adjunct professor at NYU and The New School, I mentor students in synthesis, sound design, and performance while nurturing historical and sociocultural contexts.
