I am Leen Demeester, a Belgian language and fashion writer with a Master in English and German Languages and Literature from Ghent University (with studies in Eichstätt). I combine languages, film studies, and editorial work to craft English-language fashion content, journalism, and educational materials. I have taught aesthetics, NT2, communications, international marketing and business, and I translate German for corporate clients such as Lidl and Arcelor and for academic settings at VUB- PCVO Meetjesland.
Beyond writing, I work as a gallery assistant and editor; I have published four English-language fashion books with Lannoo and Stichting Kunstboek, and I freelance as a journalist for fashion and design outlets. I love art, interior design, fashion, and cross-cultural storytelling; I also enjoy music, travel, and discovering new cultures.
