About
I’m Donna Newsome, a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia. I build my acting work across film, television, and theatre in the Atlanta area, with day-player and ensemble credits in productions like The Originals, Vampire Diaries, House of Payne, Brockmire, Intertwined, and Stuber. I value warmth, collaboration, and bringing characters to life with energy.
I’m actively training through local workshops and theatre programs, honing improvisation, scene work, and performance skills. My stage work includes Music Man (Ensemble) at IFC Theater, Big River (Alice) at Aurora Theater, Tambourines to Glory (Ensemble) at Aurora Theater, and Black Nativity (Angel) at Alliance Theater, among others. I also enjoy writing and continuing to grow as an actor with new challenges.
