Hello, I’m Sasha Furnée Horton, a multidisciplinary fine artist and maker who recently graduated from the University of the Arts London. My practice crosses animation, ceramics, film, illustration, and textiles, and for my film work I design and build the costumes, props, and sets myself. Since graduating, I’ve created animations for the artist film Out of This Earth (2025), and I’ve been working as a seamstress at a costume shop, creating costumes for individuals and theatre companies. I’m passionate about illustration and pushing creative boundaries while staying precise and detailed. I’m a fast learner who thrives both independently and in collaboration.
Beyond my studio practice, I’ve taken on freelance work making everyday clothes for clients and gained experience in front-facing roles at Wysing Arts Centre. My education includes a Foundation Diploma (Distinction) from Central Saint Martins and a First Class Honours BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art. I’m excited to continue developing work that blends craft, storytelling, and visual experimentation.
