Mike Teixeira was born in Hull, Quebec. After completing one year in Interior Design at the Collège de l’Outaouais in Gatineau, he received an exemption from the Graphic Design program at La Cité collégiale in Ottawa due to his prior experience. Beginning in 1993, he worked in the job market for various agencies in the region. In 1997, he became Art Director at the agency Kolegram.
A specialist in graphic design, he is passionate about his craft. His talent, creativity, and perfectionism make him a leading figure in graphic design in the region. In 2003, he was selected by the Association of Design and Advertising of Ottawa to create the promotional materials for a conference by the famous designer David Carson, presented in Ottawa. Carson later included the conference ticket design in his book Trek.
