Industry Experience
As a fashion illustrator and designer, I bring years of hands-on experience across Australia’s leading fashion houses and my own independent label - translating design ideas into visual stories that captivate, inspire and sell. My work merges artistry with industry insight, giving clients fashion illustrations that not only look beautiful but also feel real, wearable and brand-right.
With a strong foundation in fashion design, garment construction and product development, my illustration work reflects an authentic understanding of fabric, form and fit. Whether sketching an ethereal gown or a structured silhouette, I draw with an awareness of how garments move, drape and come to life - because I’ve designed, fitted, and produced them myself.

At Sunshades Eyewear, I contributed to the design and development of collections for Le Specs and various private label brands, collaborating with senior creatives to bring directional, trend-focused eyewear to market. This role strengthened my skills in product design, development management, and global supplier communication, while refining my eye for commercial design execution in a fast-paced accessories environment.
Collection Design & Development
Working across Le Specs’ mainline and collaboration ranges, I assisted in creating CAD designs and product concepts, aligning each range with the brand’s creative vision and seasonal trends. I also supported the design and execution of collaboration projects, working closely with the Creative Director to translate partner brand aesthetics into cohesive, on-brand eyewear collections.
Product Development & Sampling
I managed elements of the product development process, overseeing sampling and approvals from first prototype through to pre-production (PP) stage. This involved clear communication with offshore factories, ensuring all product specifications, materials, and finishes met brand standards and critical path timelines.
Client & Private Label Communication
In addition to in-house design, I liaised with private label clients, assisting in interpreting their brand direction and creating bespoke eyewear solutions tailored to their market and aesthetic. I helped coordinate sample delivery and feedback cycles, ensuring smooth project flow and consistent quality outcomes.
Creative Collateral & Brand Support
Alongside product design, I supported the Creative Director with the development of brand collateral and visual assets, helping maintain the design consistency and brand identity of both Le Specs and associated labels. I also managed sample archiving and sourcing, ensuring accurate record-keeping for ongoing and upcoming collections.
2016 – 2021
My journey at Bec + Bridge, one of Australia’s leading contemporary fashion labels, provided a comprehensive foundation across the entire fashion production cycle — from design room to dispatch. Over five years, I developed a deep understanding of garment production, quality control, sustainability initiatives, and digital brand management, progressing through multiple roles and expanding my creative and technical expertise along the way.
E-Commerce Assistant & Sustainability Lead
February 2020 – June 2021
As Head of Packaging and Sustainability, I led the brand’s shift toward more environmentally conscious business practices. I managed the research, development, and implementation of sustainable packaging solutions, overseeing concept design, supplier sourcing, sampling, and final production rollout.
I also established and organised in-house recycling and composting systems at head office, ensuring daily operations aligned with the brand’s sustainability goals. Collaborating with department heads, I conducted sustainability research and presented findings and product samples to CEOs and senior management, supporting long-term corporate responsibility strategies.
In addition to my sustainability role, I assisted the eCommerce team with product uploads, web copywriting, and digital content management — ensuring all product descriptions and brand messaging maintained consistency, accuracy, and tone across the online store. I also supported staff training for warehouse and customer service teams to maintain workflow and product accuracy.
Production Assistant
2017 – 2020
In this role, I supported the end-to-end production process, liaising with local and offshore manufacturers to ensure timely and high-quality output. I handled technical drawings for overseas production, fabric and trim coordination, PP sample measurements, and quality control checks to ensure garments met brand standards.
I was responsible for packing trims and components for local production, managing fabric testing and inventory, and assisting the Production Coordinator and Manager in maintaining smooth production flow. I also helped train interns and supported the pattern filing and QC process, fostering efficiency and attention to detail across the department.
Internship & Casual Roles
2016 – 2017
I began my fashion career as an intern and production assistant, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of the design and production pipeline. My duties included sample cutting, quality control, hand sewing, packaging, and assisting on lookbook shoots. These early experiences instilled in me a strong work ethic, technical discipline, and deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail — values that continue to guide my work today.
As the Founder and Head Designer of my own independent label, I oversee and execute every stage of the creative and operational process — from concept development to customer delivery. Building a brand from the ground up has honed my ability to merge creative innovation with business strategy, balancing artistry with commercial awareness in every collection.
Creative Direction & Collection Design
I conceptualise and design complete seasonal collections, drawing inspiration from cultural shifts, art, and contemporary trends. Each range begins with in-depth research and moodboarding, evolving into refined designs that reflect a distinct visual identity. I handle fabric and trim sourcing, ensuring premium quality and alignment with brand ethos, and personally develop and sample each garment to maintain the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Technical Development & Production
My hands-on approach extends from patternmaking and sampling through to sewing both sample and bulk production stock. This end-to-end involvement has sharpened my understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrication — allowing me to translate design ideas into production-ready pieces with accuracy and consistency.
Brand Management & Creative Marketing
Beyond design, I lead PR and marketing strategy, from campaign concept through to execution. I art-direct and organise shoots, including styling, casting, and creative direction, ensuring brand storytelling is cohesive across all channels. I also design all graphic and digital content, maintaining a unified aesthetic from lookbook to social media.
Digital Presence & E-Commerce
I personally designed, built, and manage the brand’s eCommerce website, overseeing everything from photography and copywriting to UX flow and customer experience. Managing online sales and content creation has provided deep insight into digital brand growth and consumer engagement.
Business Operations & Strategy
As CEO, I manage all financial and logistical aspects of the business, including bookkeeping, supplier relationships, production scheduling, and inventory management. Balancing creative direction with operational execution has strengthened my strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, ensuring every collection is both artistically fulfilling and commercially viable.
As a Junior Designer, I’ve worked across the complete lifecycle of product development — from initial concept and trend research to final production handover — supporting the creative vision while ensuring technical precision, brand alignment, and commercial success.
Creative Design & Direction
I collaborate closely with the Head Designer to interpret seasonal trends, colour stories, and brand direction into refined, trend-aware designs. My contributions include designing, CADing and range development, ensuring every collection feels cohesive, contemporary, and true to brand DNA. I assist in building and managing design boards, helping visualise collections that balance creativity with market relevance.
Technical Development & Sampling
With a strong technical foundation, I create and update detailed tech packs and specifications through every stage — from first sample to pre-production. My precision in measuring samples, analysing fit, and actioning comments ensures high-quality garments and streamlined development timelines. I also contribute to patternmaking for locally produced styles, bridging design and production seamlessly.
Fabric, Trim & Print Development
From print sourcing and recolouring to fabric research and trim development, I manage materials that elevate the final product. I work directly with both local and offshore factories, overseeing quality standards, testing processes, and ensuring clear communication through all stages of production.
Project & Production Management
I oversee product development trackers, manage purchase orders for sampling, and coordinate timelines to ensure smooth workflow across departments. My role involves the handover of all design data to production, maintaining clarity between creative, technical, and manufacturing teams.
Creative Marketing & Brand Representation
Beyond the design room, I assist with campaign and eCommerce photoshoots, castings, and showings, ensuring the brand narrative remains consistent from concept to customer. I support the eCommerce team by translating fit and design notes for digital content accuracy and contribute to sales reports that inform future design direction.
Trend & Market Awareness
Through consistent trend forecasting, attendance at trade and sourcing shows, and reviewing sell-in performance, I help refine seasonal ranges that respond to customer insights and evolving industry direction.
As a dedicated Design and Garment Tech Assistant, I supported the end-to-end design and development process for multiple ready-to-wear collections, collaborating closely with designers, buyers, and production teams to bring concepts to life with precision and creativity.
Design Development & Technical Precision
I assisted senior designers by creating detailed CAD illustrations and technical packs, ensuring every garment was accurately represented and ready for production. My strong attention to detail and deep understanding of construction techniques resulted in a high first-sample approval rate, saving both time and production costs.
Fabric Research & Sourcing
I managed fabric research and sourcing, curating high-quality, trend-driven materials aligned with seasonal direction and brand DNA. I maintained up-to-date trim and fabric libraries, including cost tracking and supplier communication — ensuring efficient, on-brand, and commercially viable designs.
Fit, Fittings & Sampling
Working closely with the garment tech and design teams, I contributed to fittings and sample evaluations, measuring garments, interpreting fit comments, and communicating clear technical feedback to factories. This process strengthened consistency across styles and improved fit accuracy from initial sampling to bulk production.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Presentation
I played a key role in buy meetings and range presentations, preparing visual line-ups, organising samples, and supporting collection storytelling. My ability to translate technical details into a creative narrative helped ensure the design vision was communicated effectively across departments.
Process Management & Organisation
Behind the scenes, I maintained all tech packs and specification updates, ensuring real-time accuracy for design, production, and merchandising teams. I also handled sample tracking, supplier follow-ups, and price negotiations, balancing creative goals with commercial needs.
