I was born and raised in Paris, and I picked up the guitar when I was 12. I moved to New York City in 1993, and a year later I recorded and co-produced my first album with Gotham, a 7-piece Funk/Jazz band, then toured the States and Europe, opening for Ramsey Lewis and James Moody. After studying with Mike Stern and Wayne Krantz, I formed my own Jazz projects and released my debut album in 2002 on the British label String Jazz: Circles, Live@55 Bar. I also compose and arrange for artists on my Zorojazz label, and on the guitar I freelance with bands across Funk/Soul, Country, Rock and World Music. My work spans performing as a session guitarist and musical director: I lead and record with Versature and the Medeljazz Quartet; Versature's latest record gets airplay in over 100 US stations and on France Musique, and even ranked #1 on Top Music Japan. In 2023 I toured in the US with Versature and was invited to Kobe Jazz Festival and Kansai Music Conference in Japan. I've performed at the United Nations for eight consecutive years with my Jazz Trio during US Mission receptions, and with Latinamour for events at the French Consulate, Condé-Nast, Ralph Lauren, Christie’s, Princeton University, and more. I have also worked on Dragone Productions' India circus show, composed for the Michael Jackson documentary Gone Too Soon (aired in 50+ countries), and played the Broadway scene with Rent, Hairspray, Spring Awakening, In the Heights, Toxic Avenger, and Altar Boyz. I also collaborated with Ari Gold, Mascot’s Distance, Sacred Road, Mako Le King, Boubacar et Reggae Futur, and Frank Gerard.
