I’m Jo, a British and U.S. citizen with a long career in public radio and podcasting. I’m the host and producer of the award-winning Systemic podcast for Colorado Public Radio. I’m passionate about storytelling, audience growth, and telling stories that connect with people.
I’ve worked on breaking news, finance and business news, covered justice, politics, health and education, and in all cases I tell a narrative story—putting a person at the center for audiences to gain a deeper understanding of the issue. I’ve earned awards including Edward R. Murrow, Ambie, and NABJ/SPJ honors for Systemic; climate reporting awards; and I’m excited to keep telling compelling stories that challenge our world view and help audiences understand others.
