I am a translator and writer born in Zadar with a solid grounding in Croatian language and literature. I studied in Zadar and Zagreb, served in the Croatian War of Independence, and later worked as a lecturer in Kyiv and in Gdańsk, focusing on literary and scholarly translation, with a strong interest in Polish as a mediator language.
Currently I collaborate with authors and scholars worldwide, focusing on literary translations from Polish. I have been involved in projects such as translating the collected works of Leo Lipski and selected poems by St. J. Lec, for which I was a Kraków Institute for Books and Literature fellow (2023–2024).
