Volunteer at Mental Health Education & Counseling Centre, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Assisted in daily operations, literature reviews on non-suicidal self-harm (NSSI), and visitor guidance at a university mental health centre, serving 200+ students weekly. Educated 50+ visitors on the functions and benefits of key facilities, including the Light Therapy Room and Meditation Room. Coordinated 2 major conferences with 250+ attendees, overseeing venue setup, guest reception, note-taking, and post-event press releases. Completed 32-hour advanced training in narrative therapy, taught by Prof. Yan Li (Tsinghua University), developing foundational skills in externalisation and story-reframing. Teaching Assistant at Bowen Education

Supported inclusive teaching and safeguarding for 10+ children aged 5 at a private school, in line with Ofsted’s safeguarding and inclusion standards. Facilitated shared-reading activities in Homework Club to strengthen sequencing, summarising and retelling skills for KS1 pupils. Provided classroom assistance in Mandarin sessions, tracked pupil progress, and communicated learning updates to parents. Helped coordinate 3 large events and 10+ weekly Arts & Crafts Club activities, engaging over 400 participants across multiple cultural events.
