I’m a screenwriter and director passionate about telling stories with moving images and sound through this fascinating medium we call film. I was selected to the Reykjavík International Film Festival Talent Lab and to the Pitching Forum - FEST - New Directors | New Films Festival (2024), with my feature film project 'Winter Flowers' and I have written, directed and produced Bloom, a fiction short film selected to the Guadalajara International Film Festival's library. I’m also the writer and director of 'Archaeology of Dreams', a fiction short film currently in development, to be shot in Lisbon, Portugal and of 'A Man on Earth', a short film currently in post-production. With more than 7 years of experience, I have worked as an assistant director to Brazilian director Fernando Grostein Andrade (Abe and Wondering Heart) and also as an assistant director and script supervisor in many short films that were screened in festivals around the world. I hold an M.A. in Film Project Development at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School, where I specialized in Film Narratives and a B.A. in Social Communications with a Qualification in Film at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP) in São Paulo, Brazil. I have also worked as a film critic and writer, as talking and writing about film is another passion that adds up to the art of making it. I’ve written more than 800 articles and reviews for Cineserie, having also covered the Tribeca Festival Lisboa.
