Design Engineer – Plastic & Sheet Metal Brackets at Volvo Cars (Alten Sweden)

Investigated carry-back battery back-up concepts from SPA 2 to SPA 1 projects; developed new sheet metal bracket concepts according to surroundings, assembly order, and ergonomics. Designed a plastic bracket for the Trailer Module unit (TRM) considering surroundings, cost, weight, and optimization, including assembly order and ergonomics. Built and tested 3D-printed prototypes. Implemented Foot Movement Detection Module (FMDM) packaging rules from suppliers and created digital models for verification.
