Work Experience

Machine Learning Engineer Intern at SpaceVision AI
December 1, 2025 - December 1, 2025
Built an automated multi-camera person re-identification (Re-ID) dataset pipeline to obtain approximately 200 person IDs across 25 hours of video footage with features such as tracking, ROI-based filtering, and Gemini API-powered verification. Evaluated computer vision models (ResNet-50, EfficientNet, ViT) on manually collected person Re-ID datasets, and visualized feature embeddings in TensorBoard to assess dataset quality. Developed a Python-based decryption script to securely process 2 months of video footage from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for Re-ID dataset generation and subsequent model training. Proficient with PyTorch for model development and Git for collaborative workflow management.
Artificial Intelligence Engineer Intern at KeyASIC
February 1, 2025 - February 1, 2025
Analyzed cell type features (shape, diameter, nucleus-to-cytoplasm ratio, etc.) and defects of various blood cells for leukemia detection. Developed and visualized an algorithm for identifying abnormal blood cell types based on cell-type features. Deployed DeepLabV3+ for leukocyte nucleus segmentation, achieving a mean Dice coefficient of 0.9654 and mean IoU of 0.9386.
Undergraduate Student Researcher at Medical Artificial Intelligence Lab (MAILAB), Korea University
December 1, 2024 - December 1, 2024
Researched on projects regarding various biological data analysis using DL techniques under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Tae-Eui Kam.
Member, Biosensors and Chips Team at Biomedical Engineering Academic Team (BEAT), Korea University
December 1, 2023 - December 1, 2023
Researched and presented findings on wearable sensor technologies; designed and modeled basic medical device architectures using AutoCAD, drawing from research findings.
