My journey began in childhood, working as an extra on film sets and modeling for photo projects. At the age of 14, I joined the Bavaria Film Tour at Munich’s renowned Bavaria Film Studios — the production site of iconic films such as The NeverEnding Story, Das Boot, and Enemy Mine. By 17, I completed my first internship at Germany’s largest commercial production company. At 20, I started working as a set runner and driver, later moving into set management and production assistance. After finishing school and military service, I landed a pivotal internship as a special effects artist on An American Werewolf in Paris, starring Julie Delpy and Tom Everett Scott. Over the next decade, I honed my craft in special effects, contributing to major international productions such as The Patriot (starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger) and 10,000 B.C.. In 2006, I made a full transition to visual effects, joining Scanline VFX as a Compositing Supervisor. After working on the first Avengers movie at Scanline, I became a Visual Effects Supervisor at ARRI VFX, later contributing to several Marvel films with Trixter. In recent years, I worked at Sehsucht, one of Germany’s leading VFX studios for commercials and episodic content. When the company faced financial challenges, I decided to embark on a freelance path.
