Hello, I’m Joe Keylock. I’m a Graphic Designer after recently graduating from UWE’s Graphic Design course with a First Class degree. I am ready and raring to progress in the professional world of design. Within the subject, my preferences and skills are very broad, including strategy and concept generation, copywriting, editorial design, book and publication making, and the more physical, hands-on side of design such as bookbinding and various other processes. I believe every aspect of all design and communication should be thoroughly considered and have intention or purpose. I live by this throughout my practice and processes. Throughout my employment and education, I’ve always proven to be a reliable, punctual, and hardworking team player, fully immersing myself into whatever the role may be. I’m a confident person that jumps into opportunities allowing myself to continuously grow as a person and professional. Through doing so, I’ve evolved to thrive under pressure. My greatest skills, however, are adaptability and communication. I love people! Whether that be hearing and sharing their stories, collaborating, assisting others where possible, or just general interactions. It’s those diverse interactions that make any industry great. My general goal is to make the world a better and more equal place for all; I’m keen to use my studies and passions to achieve this.
