Hello! My name is Liam O’Neil and I paint pictures. I focus on book illustration, surface design, and anything that I can imbue with story.
The foundation of my work is traditional, dwelling in the poetic space between the golden age of children’s book illustration and a modern shape sensibility.
I’ve illustrated middle grade readers in pen and ink for Adapted Classics, made many of my own stories in watercolor, and designed book covers with inspiring typography.
