Managed IT operations for a medium-sized federal science center (100+ users, 500+ nodes, 25+ servers) across three subnets; served as technical move coordinator for the 2007 move to a purpose-built facility on the UMBC campus; managed site IT security, patch distribution and security scanning for all computers and servers; managed internal and public web content and microsites; developed and administered SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams-based collaboration sites; created and maintained web servers (Solaris with Apache and Windows IIS), and supported data, GIS, and backup systems across main office and remote locations; stood up an early ArcServe GIS application that could be managed remotely; engaged in ongoing IT operations and content management.
