Hello, I’m Alexander Khmelevsky, a Berlin-based cultural organizer, musician, and artist with a track record of building partnerships, booking international artists, and curating vibrant programs across Moscow, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, and Milan. Since 2001 I’ve coordinated independent concert promotions at Lion is the Sun, growing a network of venues, sponsors, and media contacts that enabled hundreds of cross-border performances by artists from Europe and the US. In 2014 I founded the cultural center NII (Science and Art) where I directed programming, organized large-scale events, and fostered collaboration between cultural institutions and embassies. As a curator and musical programmer I’ve led projects at major venues such as New Tretyakov Gallery, Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, and Flow Festival, and I’ve spoken at international forums on creative industries. My work blends music, visual art, and education, and I continue to develop projects like the ID K platform in Berlin and the TRUST ME Show in Milan to connect artists with audiences across Europe.
