Chris Remerowski is a writer, director and producer based in Toronto and a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Cinema Studies program. Chris is the Senior Producer - Creative Services at ZoomerMedia (VisionTV, ONETV, JoyTV, BlogTO, DailyHive, Dished, Curiocity, ClassicalFM and CARP).
Chris is currently producing a documentary about legendary musician, DJ, promoter, filmmaker and bon vivant, Jaymz Bee called “Being Bee” for Canada’s Hollywood Suite channel that will air and stream on Hollywood Suite in June 2026.
Chris is also in development on a feature film called “The Flying Man” in partnership with Visionary Productions (Jennifer Duong and Ian Nsenga). Raven Banner Releasing is the film’s distributor and Hollywood Suite is the first window broadcaster for the film. Chris’s script for “The Flying Man” was a quarter finalist in the Scriptapalooza screenplay competition in 2024. Chris’s short proof of concept for “The Flying Man” won the award for best science fiction short film at the Toronto Short Film Festival and at the LA Sci Fi Film Festival and was a nominee for Best Sc-Fi Short Film at the BAFTA qualifying Beeston Film Festival in the UK.
Chris’s short films appear on ShortsTV on AppleTV+ and AmazonPrime in the US, Europe and in Africa.
In February 2023 Chris premiered his OUTRAVE documentary on the Revry streaming service, a film he co-wrote, directed and produced.
Chris’s 5 x 30 minute doc series “Longevity Road Trip” streams on AppleTV+’s Survivornet. It is also broadcast by the South African Broadcasting Association, Polish Television, Hong Kong Television and VisionTV (Canada).
Chris’s 12 x 30 minute documentary series “Organic Panic” plays on VisionTV and ONETV and streams on The Green Channel (Canada) and Country Television (New Zealand).
In 2017, Chris helped create the musical variety series “Your All Time Classic Hit Parade” now in its 8th season on Canada’s VisionTV.
Chris’s debut indie feature film “Sixty Days” premiered at the Canadian Film Festival in 2008. “Sixty Days won best feature film at the 2009 Slackers Film Festival in Toronto.
Chris is the president of the board of directors of one of Canada’s oldest artist centres: Charles Street Video.
