With a background as head writer, screenwriter and lecturer in dramaturgy, I approach script development from both a creative and structural perspective.

In my work, I focus on identifying where a script is not yet reaching its full potential and translating that into clear, actionable feedback.

Typical areas I address include:

Clarifying character motivation early to strengthen audience engagement

Identifying structural weaknesses, especially in the second act, and introducing turning points to maintain momentum

Strengthening emotional progression by ensuring escalation in relationships and conflict

Refining dialogue by reducing exposition and increasing subtext

Aligning tone and theme to create a more cohesive narrative experience

Having worked extensively with long-running series, I’m used to developing storylines across multiple episodes and guiding writers in shaping both individual scenes and overall arcs.

I also bring experience from teaching and supervising screenwriting at university level, where the focus is always on making feedback practical, specific and directly usable for the writer.
