I write about real people — athletes, survivors, families, underdogs. Whether it’s sports documentary, true crime, or character-driven nonfiction, I’m drawn to stories that reveal something true about being human. After 24 years in the field, I’ve built a simple approach: listen closely, write honestly, and honor the people who let me tell their stories. I’m currently writer / director on Chasing Goals: A Refugee Soccer Documentary, a mission-driven project rooted in community storytelling, culture, and sport, with Day Zero Productions (Trevor Noah), Wavelength Productions, and Foolish Club (Kansas City Chiefs). The film follows a Kansas City–based refugee soccer team navigating identity and belonging in America, highlighting resilience and the power of sport to build community.
