Andrew Emerson

Hi, I’m Andrew Emerson. I’m a theatre and TV writer and head writer with a passion for musical theatre. I’ve also trained and worked as an actor and singer - I spent two years in the West End production of Chicago.

I’ve written scripts and lyrics for many theatre productions in the UK, collaborating with composers and directors.

As an animation scriptwriter I have a strong track record of developing and delivering top quality series for major studios including Magic Light Pictures, Beano/CBBC, DreamWorks, and Netflix.

I’m passionate about character-driven storytelling; finding the heart and joy and emotional connection with audiences; and collaborating with fellow creatives to deliver truly engaging and surprising theatre and music.
