I’m Gloria J. Katch, a journalist and writer with over a decade of experience in journalism, communications, and photography. I’ve edited material in CP style, researched and authored hard news, features, reviews, public service announcements, newsletters, and website content, and I’ve assisted with policy development, marketing, and grant proposals. I enjoy balancing creative storytelling with analytical thinking and I’m comfortable coordinating volunteers and liaising with boards and community partners. Beyond reporting, I’ve coordinated human rights projects, conferences, fundraisers, and open houses for nonprofit organizations across southern Ontario. I’m committed to community-based storytelling and capacity-building for non-profits, while also pursuing personal creative projects such as writing, reading, and learning piano in my spare time.
